Squirrel Watch

Small, useful software, one idea at a time

From the outside, our projects can look random, like a squirrel darting across a lawn. One week it is a planner. The next it is a toolchain that turns a 3D scan into a drawing. Then a bowling lane reader, a lyric scroller, a perfume formula helper or a watch complication. The name is a fond nod to that seeming randomness.

What we are making now

Planner for People

A gentle personal planner for iPhone, Mac and Apple Watch, for people who want help shaping their days without being scolded for the days that do not go to plan. It holds projects, tasks, day plans, daily check-ins, meals and groceries.

The app offers facts and accepts commands. An assistant you connect, such as Claude, does the thinking in your own conversation.

Planner for People is in private development and testing. It is not publicly available today.

Lyric Scroll

An iPhone app for singers. It shows your lyrics and chords on a black stage screen and scrolls them by listening to you sing, with speech recognition that stays on the phone.

Lyric Scroll is being readied for release.
